Pettipathiri

Petti pathiri is a Malabar snack in the form of a square box ( the word petti indicates a box) stuffed with fillings. This snack is a deep-fried one, filled with tasty ingredients. The outer covering for the fillings is prepared using maida (all-purpose flour). Chicken or egg along with some spicy masalas are commonly used as fillings for petti pathiri.
