Neypathal

A delicious food from Malabar that resembles a ‘puri’. The deep-fried pancake, neypathal is made with ingredients like rice powder, onions, crushed coconuts, and cumin seed (jeera). This dessert is soft in nature and gives a crispy bite. It is known by various names like ney pathal, ney pathiri or poricha pathiri.
